INTRODUCTION MS POWERPOINT- 2013

Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation tool that supports text, graphics, pictures, shapes, and multimedia along with integration with other Microsoft Office products like Excel. This program allows the user to easily and quickly create professional looking presentation. It provides many predefined templates, themes and it also allows animation effects to create attractive presentation. Presentation is made of up number of slides and slide may contain text, image, table, chart, shapes, audio, video etc.
By default, documents saved in PowerPoint 2013 are saved with the .pptx extension where as the file extension of the previous PowerPoint versions is .ppt.

Finished presentations can be shown as:

• As slides in slide projector
• As overheads on an overhead projector
• As a web page
• From a screen projector linked to a computer
