When word 2013 is start at the beginning of a work session, it provides two choices one you can start with blank document or start with Template. Word assigns the name “Document1” and this appears on the title bar at the top of the screen until you save the document and allocate a filename. Each time a new document is created, Word will assign this temporary name with the number of the document going up in sequence like document1, document2… etc. When you open a new document, a blinking vertical line can be seen. It is known as cursor. When you typed text through the keyboard the text will be appeared at the left of the cursor. In word typing text continuously and don’t press enter key at the end of the line until you want to change the paragraph.
Microsoft Word provides “New” command to create new blank documents.
This command is available in the File Menu of 2013 word window.
For using this command follow the below steps:
>> Click on File and Click on New then New window will display.
Click on Blank document.

Click on New command from Quick access button.
Or
With Key board Press Ctrl + N.
